This is a night made for true metalheads — loud, uncompromising and driven by passion. Three strong representatives of the Greek metal scene will take the stage, each bringing their own identity and fire, but all united by a love for honest, no-frills metal. “A Night of Unbound Metal” promises a show overflowing with energy, sweat and authentic metal spirit — the kind of night where the volume is high, the headbanging is constant and the bond between band and crowd feels unbreakable. If you’re craving a real metal experience in Athens, January 23 at Piraeus Club Academy is the place to be. But let’s see thoroughly the protagonists of the night!
Darklon

Greek power metallers Darklon return with their third full-length album, “Mind Reaper”, marking a powerful new chapter in the band’s steadily rising career. Formed in Athens in 2017, Darklon made their first statement with their debut album “Rise from Death” in 2019, immediately establishing themselves as a band with a deep understanding of classic US heavy and power metal. In 2023, the band followed up with “The Redeemer”, released via No Remorse Records, featuring Nikos Migus A. (Omen) on vocals. The album received excellent reviews, praised for reviving the unstoppable energy, danger and grit of legendary American heavy/power metal acts such as early Savatage, Omen and Jag Panzer. It was a record that confirmed Darklon as one of the most promising forces in the Greek metal scene.
Now, with the arrival of Billy Chrepas (ex-Wildfire) on vocals, Darklon take a decisive step forward, injecting their sound with even stronger US power metal elements. Drawing inspiration from bands like Vicious Rumors, Oliver Magnum and Metal Church, Mind Reaper sounds sharper, more epic and more confident than ever before. The new album preserves Darklon’s manic musicianship and passionate performance, while pushing the band to new creative heights. With renewed fire and a reinvigorated lineup, Darklon are fully prepared to bring these new songs to the stage, promising an explosive live show.
Leatherhead

Leatherhead were formed in 2022 in Larisa, and from the very beginning they made their intentions clear. Their sound is a fierce blend of thrash metal aggression and US power metal vocals and melody, combining sharp riffing with soaring, anthemic hooks. The band first struck with their debut single “Tomahawk”, a track that instantly caught the attention of the metal underground. Momentum continued to build, and in October 2024 Leatherhead unleashed their self-titled debut album, released through No Remorse Records. The album received glowing reviews, earning praise for its intensity, authenticity and classic metal spirit. On the live front, Leatherhead quickly proved they belong on big stages. They have already shared the stage in Greece and abroad with legendary names such as Savatage, Destruction, Jag Panzer, Coroner and Heir Apparent, among others — experiences that further sharpened their sound and strengthened their reputation as a powerful live act.
At the moment, the band has finished the recordings of their new album, titled “Violent Horror Stories”, which is expected to be released this year. With confidence growing and ambition clearly set high, Leatherhead are gearing up for the next step, ready to push their sound even further and solidify their place in the modern heavy metal scene.
Stygian Path

Stygian Path are an epic heavy metal band from Athens, formed in 2022, and from day one their mission has been clear: keep the spirit of classic heavy metal alive, while bringing it into the present with fresh energy and honest passion. Their sound is deeply rooted in the legacy of legendary bands like Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Iron Maiden, Doomsword and many more. Their music is a rich mix of strong melodies, epic and lyrical vibes, dynamic riffs, and — above all — narrative-driven songs influenced by mythology, everyday life and the darker corners of human nature.
Since 2022, Stygian Path have been steadily building their name on the live circuit, playing shows across Greece and abroad, with a recent appearance in Cyprus adding to their growing momentum. Highlights include their performances at Chania Rock Festival 2024 and Into Battle Fest Vol. VI (2025) — two major milestones for the band so far.
The band’s debut album, “Lorekeeper”, was recorded, produced and mixed at Pentagram Studios by Giorgos Emmanuel in 2024, and released by Eat Metal Records in March 2025.
