It’s over. The end has arrived. However you choose to put it, MINISTRY is preparing to close the final chapter of its legendary career. Before saying goodbye, though, founder and visionary Al Jourgensen has one last message to deliver, sharing his thoughts on the state of the world, those in power, and the path he believes we should take as we move into the future.
Jourgensen lays it all on the line with MINISTRY’s farewell album, “Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)”, set for release on October 30 via Cleopatra Records. Giving fans an early preview of what’s to come, the band has unveiled the album’s first single, “Burned Out,” accompanied by its official music video.

Since emerging in 1981, MINISTRY and founder Al Jourgensen have stood among the pioneers of industrial music. Over the decades, the band has built an extraordinary legacy that includes 17 studio albums, eight live releases, eight side projects, extensive tours across five continents, an autobiography, two documentaries, three farewell announcements, and a loyal global following that has remained devoted throughout its remarkable career.
On marking the end of an era, Jourgensen shares: “I’m fucking done. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m amazed at the path that it’s taken, from ‘With Sympathy’ to where we’re at today, and all points in between. It’s been quite a ride, but I’m completely at peace with the fact that it’s done. It’s time to herd goats.”
Marking MINISTRY’s 17th studio album, “Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)” also includes one final collaboration with longtime member Paul Barker, who appears on the closing track, “We’re Still Here.” The album additionally showcases the talents of the band’s current lineup: guitarists Monte Pittman and Cesar Soto, bassist Paul D’Amour, sampler and keyboard player John Bechdel, and drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña.

MINISTRY will take the songs from “Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)” along with their iconic classics on the road in 2027 for an international farewell tour. The “Goodbye Europe” trek, featuring special guests DIE KRUPPS, will kick off in April 2027, followed by a full U.S. leg, with dates to be announced soon.
The European shows will also offer fans exclusive meet-and-greet experiences with Al Jourgensen, including a photo opportunity, a collectible laminate pass, a silkscreen poster, and a commemorative final European tour coin.
In the meantime, MINISTRY will continue to bring their music to fans with a handful of final U.S. tour dates scheduled for 2026. The upcoming appearances include a stop at Chicago’s Salt Shed, a performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, as well as appearances at Louder Than Life and Sick New World Texas.
