Accept, the iconic classic metal band, which did miraculous things in the ‘80s, the living legend, which belongs to the historic pantheon of heavy metal, is coming back with a new album, “Humanoid”. Wolf Hoffmann, the only remaining founding member of the band, has proved with the latest releases of the band that, even without Udo Dirkschneider and the other founders, Accept remains a great traditional metal band, which continues the sound of the band and honors its legacy. And you can understand that with “Humanoid”, which comes as a metal punch in the face, a heartfelt caress, a true heavy metal confession. The things are really simple: Accept have enough good music ideas to make us have fun with their new songs (for example “Diving Into Sin”, “Man Up”, “The Reckoning”, “Ravages of Time”, “Nobody Gets Out Alive” and others)! From the very first listening, we get the whole picture: Wolf Hoffmann, Mark Tornillo and the other guys have prepared a selection of eleven catchy metal tunes, which showcase the rare inspiration of the band, eleven songs of heavy metal beauty, which features amazing performances and a stunning production by the great Andy Sneap. Don’t expect experimentations and innovations from Accept in the year 2024. Without reinventing metal music, the Germans add to their repertoire first class songs, which should be heard by all metal fans. I am so excited with this new album and I can’t wait to catch Accept in a live show. Accept rules!
