VINCE NEIL: LOSES VOICE DURING CONCERT

by MythofRock

Motley Crüe singer and frontman, Vince Neil, lost his voice and stopped the concert, not being able to complete it, this past Saturday (May 29) at the Boone Iowa River Valley Festival in Boone, Iowa.

Vince Neil hadn’t performed in more than a year and a half due to the coronavirus pandemic and began losing his voice several songs into his set, which consisted of Crüe classics. During the 14th song of the set (“Girls, Girls, Girls”), Neil started singing, but gave up mid-song, telling the crowd: “Hey, guys… I’m sorry, you guys. It’s been a long time playin’. My fuckin’ voice is gone… Eh… We love you, and we’ll hopefully see you next time, man. Take care.”

The 60 year old musician got off stage and the rest members of his band continued playing the song, the last of the show.
