It’s true that it’s been quite a while since we last heard something new from Primal Fear — the band clearly went through some rough times, but now they’re back, and that’s what truly matters! So, what do we have here? “The Hunter”, the first single from their upcoming album “Domination”, which is accompanied by a powerful music video — and it absolutely crushes! From the first seconds of the track, it’s obvious that Primal Fear are in excellent form. All the familiar trademarks are here: aggressive riffs, thunderous rhythm, epic choruses and soaring vocals. It’s the classic Primal Fear formula, executed with fire and passion. Every band member plays like their life depends on it — the energy is undeniable. Ralf Scheepers delivers one of the finest performances of his career. His voice is razor-sharp, powerful and full of emotion — he lifts the whole track to new heights. The guitar work is equally impressive, and Thalìa Bellazecca proves to be a brilliant addition to the band. Her playing adds a fresh spark while staying true to the group’s legacy. Produced by the band themselves, the song sounds massive — crystal-clear, punchy and intense. Hats off to Ralf, Mat Sinner and the rest of the gang: “The Hunter” is a killer return to form, and if the rest of “Domination” is anything like this, we’re in for one hell of an album. Primal Fear are back — stronger, louder and prouder than ever. The Metal Commando is back in action, and we can’t wait to hear more!
