The festival of Mousika Kymata has grown, expanded, and evolved year after year, rightfully earning its place as the largest open-air underground festival in Greece. Over the past two decades, New Long Fest has become a cornerstone of the country’s independent music scene, bringing together artists, fans, and the spirit of underground culture in a unique celebration of live music.
At the Cultural & Sports Park of Nea Makri, what began as a gathering of strangers gradually turned into a community of lifelong friends. Over the course of two decades, the baton has passed hundreds of times between emerging and established bands, a once-small festival has grown into an institution, and simple appreciation has evolved into true devotion.
New Long Fest was created to support the scene, it has endured thanks to the dedication of the people behind it, and this year it celebrates its twentieth anniversary more vibrant, louder, and more explosive than ever before.
On Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of June, once again it’s METAL time as we head to 196 Marathonos Avenue. That’s where it all began — and where, once more, history will be written!
