Songs like “So Far Away” and “For A Moment” shimmer with a quiet intensity, while “Static” and “Blast” crackle with that nervous, guitar-driven urgency that defined so much great ‘90s alternative music. The layered guitars feel richer, the synths more atmospheric and Shane Sahene’s vocals still carry that bittersweet ache that made the album such a slow-burn classic in the first place. Yet, there is also expanded material in this reissue. The bonus tracks and 2025 electro mixes don’t feel like last minute additions — they genuinely deepen the album’s world. Reimagined versions like “Innocence” and “For A Moment” bridge past and future effortlessly, adding a subtle mechanical pulse without sacrificing the human vulnerability at the core of Lowsunday’s sound.
