A brand-new LINKIN PARK documentary, “Unshatter”, is set to arrive in theaters on September 30. The film chronicles the band’s long-awaited return in 2024, marking their first new chapter seven years after the passing of frontman Chester Bennington.
Directed by Joseph Hahn, LINKIN PARK’s DJ and creative director, Unshatter explores the band’s journey through the years following Bennington’s death in 2017, culminating in their reformation with Emily Armstrong (of Dead Sara) as lead vocalist and acclaimed songwriter and producer Colin Brittain on drums. Blending exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, archival material, and recent live performances, the documentary offers an intimate look at one of rock’s most emotional and significant comebacks. Tickets go on sale on August 13.
“‘Unshatter’ follows a very particular moment in LINKIN PARK’s history and documents a path through loss, uncertainty, friendship, and reinvention,” Hahn said.
“I hope longtime fans see parts of our journey they’ve never seen before, and I hope people who are just discovering our music come away with a better understanding of how we got here. But even beyond LINKIN PARK, I hope people connect with it as a story about relationships, resilience, and what it really takes to move forward when you don’t have all the answers”.

Drawing strength from their shared history and lasting bond, the band embraced a new chapter with the addition of Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain, whose arrival ignited a fresh wave of creativity. Together, they embarked on a transformative journey that redefined the band’s sound while honoring its legacy.
The documentary follows LINKIN PARK from intimate studio sessions in 2022 through the release of their acclaimed album “From Zero” and the band’s electrifying concert in São Paulo. “Unshatter” combines rare archival footage, powerful performances from sold-out shows, and candid interviews with both the band and their fans, offering an honest and emotional look at resilience, renewal, and new beginnings.
Alongside the film, “Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo)” delivers an impressive collection of live recordings spanning the band’s entire career, including several exclusive performances not featured in the documentary.
