JUDAS PRIEST: DONATES $100,000 TO L.A. FIRE DEPARTMENT

by MythofRock

JUDAS PRIEST were delighted to donate $100,000 to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) ahead of their show at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The donation was the band’s way of supporting those affected by the recent wildfires across Los Angeles County and the surrounding areas.

Above, JUDAS PRIEST members are pictured meeting six of the firefighters as they presented the donation check.

Earlier this month, a city-commissioned report highlighted the need for the Los Angeles Fire Department to revamp its staffing policies, upgrade communication systems, and strengthen wildfire training, following the devastating Palisades Fire, which claimed 12 lives and destroyed much of the Pacific Palisades community.

The Palisades Fire—the largest in Los Angeles County—ignited on January 7 and ultimately consumed 23,707 acres. The second-largest blaze, the Eaton Fire north of Pasadena, also started on January 7 and burned 14,021 acres.
