Dizzy Reed, the longest-serving member of GUNS N’ ROSES aside from frontman Axl Rose, is set to release his second solo album, “Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me”, on August 22, 2025, through Pittsburgh-based label 50q Records.
“Rock ‘N’ Roll Chose Me” is a deeply personal and socially conscious 10-track album that delves into themes of loss, mental health struggles in an apathetic world, the disillusionment of the American Dream, and the unifying force of music. Framed by a spirit of resilience and connection, the record confronts the emotional and existential cost of seeking purpose in a fractured, demanding society.
Written and produced by Dizzy Reed, the album is a raw and emotionally intense sonic journey. It was co-produced by Jason Achilles Mezilis, with lyrics collaboratively penned by Nadja, Del James, and Reed himself. Mixing duties were handled by Evan Rodaniche, while mastering was done by Gentry Studer.
The album’s second single, “Falling Down 2gether”, is available for streaming below.
