TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA‘s acclaimed rock opera “Beethoven’s Last Night” is set to make its vinyl debut on September 12, in celebration of the album’s 25th anniversary.
The 2LP edition will be released in two unique versions. A special lenticular cover edition — featuring eye-catching 3D-style artwork — will be available exclusively through Rhino.com and TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA. Meanwhile, a red vinyl variant will be offered at select stores and online retailers.
Originally released in 2000, “Beethoven’s Last Night” presents a gripping fictional account of Ludwig van Beethoven’s final hours, as he confronts the devil himself. The album weaves some of Beethoven’s most iconic compositions into a bold fusion of classical music, hard rock, and theatrical storytelling. It introduces a cast of vivid characters — including Fate, her son Twist, and Mephistopheles — who lead the story to its intense and emotional finale.
