CINDERELLA frontman Tom Keifer has been forced to cancel the final three dates of his 2026 solo tour after suffering a severe vocal muscle strain/injury that resulted in him completely losing his singing voice.
he canceled dates include the July 30 performance at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, Pennsylvania, the August 1 appearance at Kentucky’s Rock The Dam festival in Beaver Dam, and Tom Keifer’s previously rescheduled August 3 show at Warehouse Live Midtown in Houston, Texas. The Houston concert had initially been scheduled for June 27 but was postponed only minutes before the performance after Keifer was forced to step away due to a “sudden illness.”
On Wednesday, July 29),Tom’s manager, Tim Heyne of Union Entertainment Group, shared the following statement via social media: “Unfortunately, Tom Keifer has suffered a severe vocal muscle strain/injury resulting in complete loss of singing voice, forcing the cancellation of the last three upcoming shows of the Keiferband’s 2026 concert tour. Please contact the venues or ticket services for refunds.
Canceling any show is the last thing Tom ever wants to see happen. He loves performing for you all and makes every effort to ensure his voice is the best it can be for every show.”
Over the past 15 years, Tom Keifer has shifted his focus toward his successful solo career, recording new music and performing live with his band, #KEIFERBAND.
Last August, Tom Keifer revealed during an interview with Meltdown of Detroit’s WRIF radio station that he was continuing to work on new material for the follow-up to his second solo album, “Rise”, which arrived in September 2019 through Cleopatra Records.
