Yes, “The Silent Architect” will thrill you with its progressive metal foundations, but what truly makes it stand out is its strong sense of melody and emotional depth. And Teramaze do not stop there! They also embrace a number of influences from mainstream melodic rock, bringing to mind contemporary rock bands. Alongside the complex and technical passages, Teramaze create highly catchy refrains and incorporate a variety of exciting, ballad-like moments into their songs. As a result, the progressive label alone is simply not enough to fully define their sound.
