Stephen Pearcy has unveiled “I Need U”, the lead single from his forthcoming sixth solo album, “The Dogg Mob”. The track finds Pearcy handling lead vocals and rhythm guitar, joined by Erik Ferentinos on guitar, Matt Thorne on bass, Blas Elias on drums, along with an undisclosed special guest guitarist.
Pearcy wrote on his official web site: “This song’s on me — download it before they charge ya. We’ve been writing some killer material the last few years — Erik Ferentinos and I — with Matt Thorne at MT Studios shaping the sound. We’re fired up about this record”.
Back in February, Stephen Pearcy offered a first glimpse of his upcoming album by sharing a preview of the track “Drive All Night Long”. The song, which can be heard on his Instagram, was written by Pearcy and features one of the record’s many guest musicians on lead guitar — a player whose identity is set to be revealed soon.
“The Dogg Mob” is currently slated for release this summer through Top Fuel Records, Stephen Pearcy’s own label.
