With their 15th studio album “One” set for release on May 1, Grammy Award-nominated metallers Sevendust are back with a powerful new single, “Threshold”.
Featuring Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (guitar), John Connolly (guitar), Vince Hornsby (bass) and Morgan Rose (drums), the band once again delivers a hard-hitting, emotionally charged track that feels destined to become a highlight of their live shows.
“Threshold” showcases Sevendust’s trademark mix of heavy grooves and melodic intensity, elevated by a strong motivational edge. Witherspoon pours raw emotion into his performance, taking aim at those who push others to their limits: “You want another piece of me, don’t ya? To break apart so you get what you wanted?”.

The accompanying music video marks the return of animator Ollie Jones and continues the storyline introduced in the band’s video for “Fence”. In the new chapter, a greedy music agent pressures a management team to exhume the decayed members of SEVENDUST and send them back on tour. Reanimated using the same mysterious substance that first brought them back, the band embarks on a run designed to line the agent’s pockets. The video ends with the band under his full control and what happens next is anyone’s guess.

SEVENDUST once again worked with producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette at Studio Barbarosa in Gotha, Florida. Baskette had previously worked with ALTER BRIDGE and Slash, among others.
