SARDONIC WITCHERY – “HELL’S THORNS ATTACK” (2026, FIRECUM)

by MythofRock

Sardonic Witchery, the black/thrash metal project of King Demogorgon and G. Lucis Ruina, are set to release their new album, “Hell’s Thorns Attack”, in the coming days. We should all get ready for a real extreme metal assault, an unstoppable barrage of riffs and solos, blast beats, savage vocals, and blasphemous, unholy lyrics—a black/thrash metal crescendo that will more than satisfy every fan of the genre. “Hell’s Thorns Attack” is a substantial album consisting of eight compositions, crafted with care, passion, and plenty of inspiration. As becomes evident from listening to the record, Sardonic Witchery know the art of extreme metal songwriting very well—their songs are small black/thrash metal gems that, raw, hard, and razor-sharp, raise the adrenaline levels of demanding listeners and bring hell to earth! The word that best describes Sardonic Witchery’s new offering is “hellish”. A delirium of black/thrash metal themes, properly arranged and structured, “Hell’s Thorns Attack” leaves nothing standing in its wake and unleashes unbelievable chaos, being as merciless as it is. Moreover, the mixing and mastering by G. Lucis Ruina bring out all the strengths of Sardonic Witchery’s sound, as they hit straight to the bone and achieve a small triumph. In conclusion, “Hell’s Thorns Attack” is a true, merciless massacre that every extreme metal fan will enjoy. Satanic black/thrash metal sounds at its very best on this album, and I am left trying to pick up the pieces, asking for more and hitting play once again for what must be the umpteenth time!
