by MythofRock

Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees, Grammy Award-nominated legends and RUSH co-founders Geddy Lee (bass, keys, vocals) and Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals) have confirmed their long-awaited return to the stage with the special “Fifty Something” tour set for 2026. The run will take place across Canada, the United States and Mexico, celebrating the timeless music of RUSH, the band’s enduring legacy, and honoring the life of their late drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart.

Fan demand proved massive from the very beginning. The first 22 dates sold out instantly, forcing the duo to expand the itinerary. The tour has now grown to 58 shows in 24 cities, with more than half a million tickets already snapped up for 2026.

he band has now confirmed that the “Fifty Something” tour will extend into 2027, with newly announced dates across South America and Europe. These shows mark their long-awaited return to European stages for the first time since 2013, while South American fans will finally see them back after a 17-year absence.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. local time at this location.

The trek will include 24 concerts in 13 countries, presented as special “evening with” performances. Each night, the band will deliver two full sets, drawing from a rotating pool of more than 40 songs. The setlists will change from show to show, blending classic hits with deep fan favorites from across RUSH’s celebrated catalog.

RUSH is also offering fans the chance to experience the tour on a whole new level. A special VIP program, highlighted by the exclusive “2112 Platform Experience,” will give attendees unique behind-the-scenes access, while specially curated travel packages are available for those planning to travel to catch the show.

For the “Fifty Something” tour, Lee and Lifeson will be joined by acclaimed German drummer, composer and producer Anika Nilles, known for her work with Jeff Beck across more than 60 shows and for her four solo releases.
