by MythofRock

Devastating news hits the world of rock and metal, as Bob Kulick passed away at the age of 70. The loss was announced by Bob’ s brother, former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick.

Bruce Kulick posted the following message on social media: “I am heartbroken to have to share the news of the passing of my brother Bob Kulick. His love of music, and his talent as a musician and producer should always be celebrated. I know he is at peace now, with my parents, playing his guitar as loud as possible. Please respect the Kulick Family’s privacy during this very sad time”.

Bob Kulick was a legendary session guitarist and record producer, who worked with a great number of famous musicians: KISS, W.A.S.P., Motörhead, Meat Loaf, Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Paul Stanley, Michael Bolton, Roger Daltrey etc. He started his career in the mid sixties and was popular for his association with KISS (he played on the studio material on “Kiss Alive II”, provided solos on the “Killers” album, co-wrote “Naked City” from “Unmasked”, guested on Paul Stanley’s 1979 solo album and tour a decade later).

May his soul rest in peace.
