The alternative-industrial rockers Noir Addiction are the new project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Sonny Lanegan. Based in Italy, they’ve just released their new single, “Serve Me Some Crime”. But what are we really dealing with here? Simply put, this is a band that sits somewhere between Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, and Depeche Mode, blending elements of dark rock, gothic rock, industrial rock and grunge/alternative rock. Now, throw into that mix a heavy dose of electronic/EBM influences and a touch of shock rock, and you’re getting very close to the sound of Noir Addiction and their single “Serve Me Some Crime”. This new track—flawless, energetic, and addictive—is a modern dark anthem that could easily blast through the speakers of today’s gothic clubs, sending black-clad crowds into a frenzy on the dancefloor. Noir Addiction come across as self-aware, mature, and confident, with plenty of talent and know-how to back it up. The result?
