Legendary singer and 2024 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee Lou Gramm, forever known as the unmistakable voice of FOREIGNER, has revealed “Young Love”, the first single from his long-awaited solo album “Released”. A fiery rock anthem steeped in classic AOR spirit, the track highlights Gramm’s unmistakable, powerhouse vocals alongside soaring guitar lines, capturing the raw emotion and excitement of young romance.
Scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, “Released” will arrive on CD via HNE Recordings / Cherry Red Records and on vinyl through Friday Music. The album includes ten original songs co-written by Lou Gramm and his former BLACK SHEEP bandmate Bruce Turgon, embracing the timeless sound that has defined Gramm’s legendary career while conveying a strong sense of renewal and closure. A promotional tour is set to begin this summer, with full headline dates expected to be announced soon.
Lou says: “My new album ‘Released’ is a collection of unreleased songs that were recorded in the 1980s during the production of my three previous solo albums. These are powerful, heartfelt songs with a great vintage sound taken right from my old multitrack tapes. This new album was a long time coming and it’s a real nostalgia trip. When I pulled these songs out of the vault, I knew I had to finish them for my fans around the world, so they can experience what I did when I first heard them after all these years. It means a lot to me to finally see this album released, to be taken back in time when I hear this music again, to remember working with all these great musicians, and to feel that my catalog is now complete”.
Produced by Lou Gramm himself, Released boasts contributions from an impressive lineup of musicians, including Tony Franklin on bass for “Long Gone” and Vivian Campbell of DEF LEPPARD on guitar for the album opener “Young Love”. The record also features longtime collaborators, most notably Lou’s brother Ben Gramm on drums.
The end result is a body of work that feels both timeless and intensely personal, firmly grounded in the era that established Lou Gramm as one of rock’s most distinctive and celebrated voices. The physical release, available on CD and limited-edition Ruby Red vinyl, is available for pre-order now.
