French singer, songwriter and guitarist Laurent Moitrot offers something special with “The High Life”, a catchy blues-pop rock single that transforms a difficult personal story into a warm, humorous and surprisingly hopeful song. Released through Magic Door Record Label, the track presents everyday life from a very human perspective, finding optimism in an unlikely setting. “The High Life” is driven by a relaxed but energetic blues-rock groove, memorable guitar work and a strong rhythm section. There is a classic rock feeling throughout the song, with echoes of the Rolling Stones, Dr. Feelgood and Mott the Hoople, while Moitrot’s distinctive songwriting gives it its own personality.
