Six years and five singles after their debut album “O Teleutaios Anthropos sti Gi”, the rattle of Krotalias is heard once again: the second album from the established desert punk band, “Enos Leptou Sigi” has just been released digitally via The Lab Records.
Krotalias, once a studio project created by Vasilis Zampikos and Alexandros Alepochoritis, has long since evolved into a full-fledged desert punk quintet featuring former members of well-known acts from the Greek underground scene, including Despite Everything, Wish Upon a Star, Bad Bid, and Need.
Now marking a full decade of growth and creative evolution, the band already boasts two solid releases in its catalog — the “Gia mia Thesi ston Ilio” EP and “O Teleutaios Anthropos sti Gi” LP — along with countless live performances filled with roaring sing-alongs and crowd chants.
Their Greek-language lyrics consistently strike straight at the listener’s soul, while the strong desert rock influences and carefully crafted arrangements give their sound a distinct and unmistakable identity.
Beginning with “Mia Anasa Makria” and continuing through the following singles — “Enos Leptou Sigi”, “Oso Anatellei o Ilios”, “Mou Les” and “Assos” — Krotalias steadily and enthusiastically guided listeners toward the completion of their second full-length album, with each new track finding its own way to become a fresh favorite among the band’s passionate fanbase.
The record consists of eleven songs that follow the sonic path the band has carefully carved for itself — one defined by explosive energy, honest lyricism and performances free of empty showmanship or unnecessary embellishment.

The album “Enos Leptou SIgi” was recorded between 2023 and 2026 at Apokato Studio by Vasilis Zampikos, who also handled production and mixing alongside Krotalias, while the mastering was completed by Steve Lado.
The cover photography was captured by Sofoklis Bimpis, with graphic design and visual direction crafted by A.D.Visions.
Released digitally on Friday, May 22 via The Lab Records, the album is now available across all major streaming platforms, while the vinyl edition is scheduled to arrive in September 2026.
