Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy) will be the producer of Kreator‘s new album, which is due later this year or early next year. This upcoming album will the fifteenth studio album of the German thrash metal veterans and will serve as the follow-up to 2017’s “Gods of Violence”.
This news was revealed by Mille Petrozza (Kreator’s frontman and mastermind), who spoke to Metalitalia Podcast and said the current state of the record and its musical direction: “It’s definitely different. It’s hard for me to describe it but is definitely more thrash. It has a lot of melodies, a lot of traditional parts and ingredients of the last four-five albums but it also has some very old-school moments. I think it’s definitely the next step. At this point it looks like we are working with Arthur Rizk. That’s what we have planned at this point. We are already writing, exchanging demos and discussing recording techniques.”
