Blizzard Entertainment has unveiled the official music video for “Reward The Scars”, a brand-new original track by Korn, the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning band that has been shaping heavy music for more than three decades. Released in conjunction with the new Diablo IV expansion, “Lord Of Hatred”, the song marks Korn’s first new material in over four years. Blending the emotional depth, darkness, and intensity that define both worlds, “Reward The Scars” dives into the aftermath of battle—examining pain, endurance, and how survival can ultimately transform a person.
Long celebrated for their raw, deeply personal songwriting and their fearless exploration of pain, trauma, and transformation, Korn bring a perspective that fits seamlessly with the dark world of “Diablo”, making this collaboration feel like a natural extension of the band’s artistic identity.
The track made its live debut during Korn’s performance at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas last weekend, giving fans an early taste of the powerful new song. The official music video expands on that experience, visually bringing the world of “Diablo” to life through an atmosphere shaped by fear, strength, and defiance.
“I’ve played ‘Diablo’ for years, so getting to step into that world creatively felt natural,” said Jonathan Davis, KORN frontman. “I’ve always connected to the darkness in the game and the idea of confronting what lives beneath the surface — that’s something KORN has explored in our music from the beginning. ‘Reward The Scars’ came out of our own writing sessions as a new KORN song, and it became clear pretty quickly that it was a natural fit for ‘Diablo’.”
“This collaboration came together naturally — KORN and ‘Diablo’ live in that space of confronting darkness head-on,” said Kevin Bjelajac, VP of brand and creative marketing at Blizzard. “With ‘Lord Of Hatred’, we’re telling a story about consequence, choice, and what it means to embrace — or resist — the pull of evil. ‘Reward the Scars’ captures that spirit perfectly.”
