Former Mötley Crüe and current The Dead Daisies frontman John Corabi released his debut full-length solo album, “New Day”, on April 24, 2026, via Frontiers Music. The official music video for the album’s fourth single, “1969”, is available below.
On the track, John comments: “‘1969’ is a great song inspired by the current situations in America, which made me think of another turbulent time in the 60’s-70’s… The riff throughout is compliments of Stevie D (from BUCKCHERRY) and inspired by one of my favorite bands CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL”.
“New Day” marks John Corabi’s first full-length solo album featuring entirely original material. Recorded in Nashville during the summer of 2025 and produced by multi-platinum songwriter and producer Marti Frederiksen—known for his work with Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Buckcherry—the album blends classic ’70s rock, soul, and blues influences into a sound that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
The album includes the previously released singles “Così Bella (So Beautiful)” (2021) and “Your Own Worst Enemy” (2022), now featured as part of a rich and diverse collection of songs that highlight John Corabi’s powerful vocals, heartfelt lyricism, and accomplished songwriting. Throughout the record, Corabi is joined by Marti Frederiksen, who contributes backing vocals, guitars, piano, and percussion; Evan Frederiksen on drums, bass, B3 organ, electric guitar, mandolin, and programming; Richard Fortus of Guns N’ Roses on lead guitar; Paul Taylor of Winger and Steve Perry contributing piano, organ, and clavinet; and Charlie Starr of Blackberry Smoke adding guitar solos. Together, they shape an organic, instrument-driven sound built on real performances, melodic chemistry, and soulful energy.
More than simply a solo debut, “New Day” stands as John Corabi’s personal statement on the lasting power of rock music — a journey through melody, soul, and authenticity, delivered with passion and conviction in every note.
