IAN MCDONALD: PASSED AWAY

by MythofRock

Ian McDonald, King Crimson and Foreigner co-founder, has passed away. The celebrated musician died peacefully on February 9, 2022, in his home in New York City, surrounded by his family. He was 75 years old. McDonald was one of the great musicians, who launched King Crimson, one of progressive rock’s finest bands. He also helped in the creation of Foreigner, the melodic hard rock masters, and contributed with his musicianship to the band’s first three, super-successful albums: “Foreigner” (1977), “Double Vision” (1978) and “Head Games”.

Thank you for the music, Mr. McDonald. Rest in Peace.
