Industrial metal pioneers FEAR FACTORY have unleashed a brand-new single, “Roboticist”, via Nuclear Blast. The track marks the band’s first official release featuring their latest lineup additions, vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber, who have been part of FEAR FACTORY’s touring lineup for nearly three and a half years.
For more than three decades, FEAR FACTORY have explored the conflict between humanity and technology, examining the rise of artificial intelligence and the growing fear of humans losing control over their own creations. Now, the industrial metal pioneers enter a bold new era with “Roboticist”.
Premiered on SiriusXM Liquid Metal, the new single combines crushing, machine-like aggression with a haunting melodic hook, while its lyrics paint a dystopian vision in which the human body fails and only consciousness remains.
“Roboticist” was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Damien Rainaud and arrives alongside a cinematic music video directed by Vincente Cordero and produced by Arion Csihar. With the release of their latest track, FEAR FACTORY have officially activated the next chapter of their story.
