After many incredible live performances, Dismiss are finally releasing their debut album, “Funeral Fund”, and we are hit by a rock n’ roll (with a little touch of punk rock and grunge) attack – relentless, merciless, direct, and authentic! “Funeral Fund” is a recital of powerful, dirty, rebellious rock music that strikes the listener head-on and destroys every musical taboo! The quintet tears everything apart, sets everything on fire, and creates seismic vibrations with the twelve songs of the album, which, without exaggeration, are one huge celebration that we all become part of! And we dance, sing, and get drunk! On “Funeral Fund”, all the great rock n’ roll bands in history make their appearance – the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, MC5, Motörhead, and Ramones are just some of the influences of Dismiss, who take the best elements from each band and create a sound that is (almost) entirely their own. Considering that they are incredible songwriters, as well as phenomenal musicians, we can understand just how great “Funeral Fund” really is, an album that contains only killer tracks and not a single filler! For those of you who have seen Dismiss live, know this: this band is even better in the studio! And for those who haven’t seen them yet, know that “Funeral Fund” is a rock n’ roll orgy, a rock n’ roll record with balls, attitude, and pure brilliance.
