ANTHRAX have unveiled the official music video for “Cursum Perficio”, the fourth single and title track from the band’s highly anticipated upcoming album.
According to Rolling Stone, the black-and-white video was directed by documentarian Don Argott, known for helming LAMB OF GOD’s “As The Palaces Burn” documentary and co-directing Taylor Swift’s “The End Of An Era”. The clip stars London May, best known as the occasional drummer and bassist for Glenn Danzig’s former band SAMHAIN.
“Cursum Perficio” follows the previously released singles “It’s For The Kids”, released in May, “The Edge Of Perfection”, which arrived in July, and “Everybody’s Got A Plan,” released in August.
“Cursum Perficio” is set for release on September 18 through Megaforce in the U.S. and Nuclear Blast in Europe. The album marks ANTHRAX’s first full-length release in a decade, following 2016’s “For All Kings,” which debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200.
The album’s title comes from Latin and translates as “My journey has come to an end,” “My journey is over,” or “I complete my journey”.
