More than ten years later, the moment European symphonic metal fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Anette Olzon is set to step back onto European stages, launching her first tour across the continent since 2012. This special and strictly limited series of shows will celebrate the beloved NIGHTWISH albums she helped bring to life, Dark Passion Play (2007) and Imaginaerum (2011), with a few extra surprises promised along the way.
Audiences can look forward to an emotional, high-powered set packed with favorites like “Amaranth”, “Bye Bye Beautiful”, “Storytime” and “The Poet and the Pendulum”. What makes this run of shows even more special is that several tracks from those albums — songs that were never performed live in Europe during Anette’s time with the band — will finally receive their stage debut. That alone turns this tour into a landmark moment for symphonic metal fans.
To mark this long-awaited comeback, a special ticket pre-sale has just launched. Fans who grab their tickets during this limited three-week pre-sale period will receive a unique, numbered postcard personally signed by Olzon as a token of appreciation for their early support. The pre-sale will run until February 20, or until the allocated tickets are sold out. General ticket sales — along with the official venue announcements and without the exclusive pre-sale perks — will begin on March 4.
