Sólstafir share melodic new single “Hún Andar”.

The Icelandic post-rock quartet has released a new music video for their latest single, “Hún andar”. You can watch it below.

“Hún Andar” is a track from Sólstafir’s forthcoming album, “Hin Helga Kvöl (The Holy Suffering)”, their first release under the new label Century Media, which they joined earlier this year. “Hin Helga Kvöl” is set to be released on November 8 and will serve as the follow-up to their 2020 album, “Endless Twilight of Codependent Love”.

Guitarist and vocalist Aðalbjörn Tryggvason explains, “‘Hún andar”, which means ‘She breathes’, is an obituary for a living person whom I love dearly. Sadly, their mind has been lost to mental illness and drug abuse”.

Sólstafir has announced their Nordic Descent Tour 2024, a European tour scheduled for November and December. This 24-date tour will include performances in cities such as Brighton, Manchester, Dublin, Glasgow, and London, along with various other locations across Europe.
