Daron Malakian‘s project, Scars on Broadway, is going to release a new single and video (directed by Hayk Kharikyan and Mikael Sharafyan) on April 23. This is the band’s first music track, since 2010’s song “Fucking”. The band, renamed Daron Malakian and Scars on Broadway, has a new line-up, completely different to the one that recorded the band’s 2008 debut. Malakian told about the line-up changes: “Nobody quit. When I first started Scars, I always said that it would be different lineups from album to album. Depends on the type of direction I want to take. Different musicians work for different styles. That is partly why I added my name in front of the band’s”. Scars on Broadway last live gig was at 2012 at the Hollywood Palladium as the opening act for Deftones.
