RICKEY MEDLOCKE BAND: RELEASES NEW SONG “RISE AGAIN”

by MythofRock

The RICKEY MEDLOCKE BAND, featuring members of LYNYRD SKYNYRD and BLACKFOOT, makes a powerful return with a blazing new country-infused rock anthem, “Rise Again”. All proceeds from the track will go to support the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s Movement.

On “Rise Again,” legendary guitarist Rickey Medlocke and his longtime collaborator Mark Woerpel deliver a fiery country-infused arena rock anthem. The song calls listeners to rise from the ashes, shed their past, and embrace their destiny time after time. It carries a powerful message of holding onto hope, letting go of doubt, and persevering in the face of adversity.

“Rise Again” follows the RICKEY MEDLOCKE BAND’s highly acclaimed early 2024 debut single, “Never Run Out Of Road,” which garnered significant attention from Medlocke’s fans. The debut racked up over 200,000 streams across platforms like YouTube, Apple Music, and Spotify, and was featured on prominent outlets such as Louder, Ultimate Classic Rock, Guitar World, as well as numerous music news sites, rock radio stations, and podcasts worldwide.

“Rise Again” is now available globally through the renowned label Rock The Cause Records. In accordance with the artist’s wishes, a portion of the net proceeds will be donated to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center, supporting efforts to end the violence and human trafficking crisis affecting Native American women and girls. The release coincides with Indigenous Peoples’ Day, recognized on October 14, 2024, across North America.
