Greek hard rock and heavy metal fans had the honor of welcoming renowned guitarist Reb Beach, known for his work with Winger and his long-standing membership in Whitesnake since 2002. Reb Beach and The Bad Boys took the stage at Fuzz Club, delivering a hard rock and melodic metal performance after the opening set by It’s All About the Music. What a Saturday night it was!

It was a hot night, full of hard ‘n’ heavy anthems that swept us away! The event started with the Greek melodic hard rock/metal tribute band It’s All About the Music. This all-star band, which features members from Greek bands like Innerwish, Wardrum, Soundtruck, Anorimoi, and more, warmed us up with a set of covers for about 50 minutes. While the venue wasn’t packed, the attendees created a lively atmosphere. It’s All About the Music performed their well-chosen classic songs with passion, giving us unforgettable moments of great, heavy music. We heard tracks such as “That Girl” (FM), “Pour Some Sugar on Me” (Def Leppard), “All She Wrote” (Firehouse), “Separate Ways” (Journey), “Right Now” (Van Halen), “River of Pain” (Thunder), “Ready or Not” (Europe), and many other great hits. They stayed true to the original compositions, yet their emotion and energy were incredible and infectious – everyone was singing along to the beautiful refrains, lost in ecstasy! Each song was introduced by Manolis Tsigkos (guitar) and featured the vocal talents of Anastasia Basta and George Margaritopoulos, who fronted a well-prepared band. Both the musicians and the fans had a great time, and we are definitely looking forward to this cover band’s next live show!
It’s All About the Music did an amazing job, and the time to enjoy Reb Beach and his gang had come. Without any excess, Reb Beach and The Bad Boys hit the stage and opened their set with “Bad Boys” (Whitesnake). Beach played his guitar wildly, showcasing a lot of technique and finesse, expressing all his emotions through his guitar licks. His smiling expressions showed he was pouring his very soul into achieving the best result! We were captivated by his virtuosity and passion, knowing we had a tremendously skilled musician and a huge personality before us. The setlist was a fine selection of Whitesnake, Dokken, and Winger classics, along with “Black Magic” from his solo career and a Deep Purple tune, “Burn.” What we heard was pure magic – “Fool for Your Loving,” “Headed for a Heartbreak,” “In My Dreams,” “Love Ain’t No Stranger,” “Crying in the Rain,” “Slow an’ Easy,” “Slide It In,” “Miles Away,” “Madalaine,” “Give Me All Your Love,” “Here I Go Again,” and “Still of the Night”! You can imagine how thrilled the fans were with these fantastic renditions. It’s no surprise, given that Beach was backed by top-notch musicians like Michele Luppi (bass, vocals, also in Whitesnake), who know this genre inside out and rocked the fans with their first-class performances. Everything flowed perfectly. Reb Beach had a cool connection with the audience, sharing stories and jokes. He even called the one and only George Gakis to the stage, who joined the band to sing “Give Me All Your Love” and “Here I Go Again”! It was a superb live show, featuring all these iconic Whitesnake, Dokken, Winger, and Deep Purple tracks. Truly, it was a dream show!
With riffs, grooves, and melodies “playing” in our heads, we left Fuzz Club feeling so satisfied and excited by the phenomenal show that It’s All About the Music and Reb Beach and The Bad Boys gave us! We all cherish these moments and are looking forward to more concerts like this in the near future!
