Chris Tsngarides, legendary producer, sound engineer, and mixer, died this Sunday, 7th January 2018. He was battling pneumonia and heart failure at the time of his death. It is a great, sad loss for the world of art. The British Grammy-nominated producer was famous due to his work with bands like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Anvil, Gary Moore, Thin Lizzy, Yngwie Malmsteen and Helloween. Many distinguished heavy metal musicians talked about Tsangarides’ passing, for example, Judas Priest released the following statement: “We are saddened to hear of the passing of our friend Chris Tsangarides. His contributions to our metal and so many others will forever remain. Love and condolences to his family”.
