Yes, “Domination” is the album that Primal Fear fans have long been waiting for—a melodic heavy metal record that will captivate every lover of the genre. It’s a fresh album, full of amazing songwriting ideas that will satisfy even the most demanding listener, with a stunning production (by Mat Sinner, Ralf Scheepers and Magnus Karlsson) that shows Primal Fear put in significant effort at every level to create something impressive, something built to last. Most importantly, beyond the passion and power that Primal Fear pour into every track, the band from Esslingen, Germany, found themselves in a great creative flow, writing songs with beautiful melodies, sharp riffs, catchy refrains, and a solid rhythm section. Every moment of “Domination” is enjoyable, resulting in an outstanding German melodic heavy/power metal album, 100% in the trademark Primal Fear style. Ralf Scheepers’ vocals are once again incredible, while the guitars of Magnus Karlsson and Thalìa Bellazecca are absolutely crushing! There isn’t a single weak spot on this album—it will more than reward anyone who dedicates some time to it. Primal Fear are back with us, stronger, more determined, and more inspired than ever, at the pantheon of melodic heavy metal. Just where they truly belong!
