Ozzy Osbourne is coming back with a new record, some months after the release of “Ordinary Man”, an album which both critics and fans liked very much. Because the madman returns with an even more satisfactory album, which will please, not only the fans of Ozzy Osbourne, but every classic rock/metal listener! “Patient Number 9” shall be described as a great piece of music, which includes fantastic songs, catchy, heavy and melodic, such as “No Escape From Now”, “One of Those Days”, “Mr. Darkness”, “Evil Shuffe”, and many more. Here you will find all the things that you expect from Double O: strong melodic hooks, monstrous guitar riffs, exceptional guitar solos, and an Ozzy, who, despite his age, sings like a teenager. Ozzy’s characteristic voice is in perfect shape, in magical heavy rock/metal compositions, which follow the undisputed style of the legendary frontman. And as he always does, he has some famous axemen next to him: Mike McCready, Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Josh Homme. Present in the album are also musicians like Duff McKagan, Robert Trujillo, Chad Smith, Taylor Hawkins, among others. I shall say that the production is perfect, since it merges the heavy side with the melodramatic side of Ozzy, and the songs sound tough, solid, massive and anthemic … In “Patient Number 9” Mr. Osbourne shows that he is timeless, immortal. You probably have listened to the singles, but, hey, the whole album is a killer one. So, choose “Patient Number 9” and just say … Ozzy!
