Orianthi shredded her guitar on the runway as supermodels strutted to the sounds of “I Love Rock N’ Roll” and “Are You Gonna Go My Way”.
Victoria’s Secret, the largest lingerie brand in the U.S., has faced significant challenges in recent years, with declining sales, widespread criticism for its lack of inclusivity, and scandal surrounding its former CEO’s ties to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
As a result, the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was canceled in 2019 and remained off the calendar for several years. However, last night at the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn, New York, the show made a triumphant return after a promotional buildup that saw national landmarks—ranging from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the Worli Sea Link Bridge in Mumbai—adorned with the brand’s signature pink angel wings. Meanwhile, “celebratory flash mobs” popped up in cities from Bogotá to Bucharest, impressing lucky onlookers.
Australian guitar icon Orianthi joined in the festivities. She appeared in Brooklyn, taking to the runway with her guitar as the classic rock anthems “I Love Rock N’ Roll” by Arrows/Joan Jett and Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way” echoed through the venue.
