Matthew Nowhere is an electro-pop artist from California, USA, and is poised to release his debut record, “Crystal Heights”, on May 23rd 2025. With “Echoes Still Remain”, the second single, Nowhere delivers a shimmering homage to the golden age of synth-pop, while firmly planting his delicate sound in the present. The adorable synths have a protagonistic role, creating an immersive electronic atmosphere, which drives the listeners to the lovely 80s era – but there are also the mellow, dreamy and melancholic voice of Matthew Nowhere and the elegant guitar, which build an introspective, yet brilliant music work. Frankly, “Echoes Will Remain” made me feel, made me think and dream – it blew up my mind indeed! This fine track has haunting melodies, which will stay with you long after the music fades, and a sound production, which takes the final sonic result to a high artistic level. As a small preview of the “Crystal Heights” album, this single is at least interesting and promising. If “Echoes Still Remain” is any indication, Matthew Nowhere is ready to deliver a debut album that blends retro influence with heartfelt innovation. For sure, this is one for the synth-pop lovers—and anyone drawn to evocative, melodic storytelling through sound. Good music, my dear friends!
