Atlanta progressive metallers MASTODON have unveiled the official music video for “In The Ruins,” a track featured on their highly anticipated new album, “Marrow Deep,” due out August 28 via Loma Vista Recordings. The album marks the band’s first full-length release without founding guitarist and vocalist Brent Hinds, who was dismissed from MASTODON in March 2025 and tragically died five months later in a motorcycle accident.
Produced by MASTODON at their West End Sound studio in Atlanta alongside Patrik Berger (Lana Del Rey, Charli XCX) and Kurt Ballou (HIGH ON FIRE, CONVERGE), “Marrow Deep” was mixed by Andrew Scheps (Adele, BLACK SABBATH, METALLICA). The record also introduces guitarist Nick Johnston as a full-time member, while keyboardist João Nogueira makes significant contributions throughout the album.
