Prog rock legends Kayak return with a new album! The Dutch band will release its 18th album (“Out of this World”) in May, 2021. They have also shared a video for the new single, “Mystery”.
“Out Of This World ” features fifteen new tracks and marks the return of Hans Eijkenaar (drums). The remainder of the current line-up features lead singer Bart Schwertmann, guitarist Marcel Singor and bass player Kristoffer Gildenlöw (ex-Pain of Salvation, brother of Daniel Gildenlöw).
Ton Scherpenzeel (keyboards) says: “This song is about the, in my view, unfathomable mystery and wonder that is the world around us. No matter what stunning progress science makes, and whatever religion wants us to believe, the essence will always be that: a mystery. Which doesn’t mean we have to stop trying to figure it all out”.
