Cinderella guitarist Jeff LaBar died on July 14th, 2021. He was only 58 years old. No cause of death has yet been revealed. His wife, Debinique Salazar-LaBar, found him dead Wednesday inside his apartment in Nashville.
The sad news of LaBar’s death was confirmed by his son Sebastian. He wrote on social media: “So i just got the call… Jeff LaBar, my father, my hero, my idol, passed away today. I’m currently at a loss for words. I love you pop!”. Bob LaBar, LaBar’s father, also shared the tragic news, posting on his Facebook page, “We have been told that our son Jeff LaBar has passed away in Nashville”.
LaBar was famous as the guitarist of Cinderella, the glam metal stars of the 80s. He was part of the band on all Cinderella classic records.
Some years ago, LaBar admitted in an interview that he had a substance abuse problem with alcohol for years.
