Inlitnment is a Swiss group, who continue on the wreck of Oath Of Cranes, “Spiritual Warfare” is their debut… and I am sure that nobody expects what takes place on this unique album. “Spiritual Warfare” is a super heavy sonic experience that nobody should miss. Here, sludge/doom metal takes flesh and bones, becomes a fiery beast, breaks its strong chains and attacks with fury, without any mercy. Naturally, this sludge/doom metal feast leaves nobody untouched, as it comes crashing down on you, puts you under pressure, and … you suffer, you suffocate! You don’t lose your oxygen, though. You survive, more mature, wiser, and you come back stronger, ready to live through the experience again and again! It is not self-destructive – it is liberating, pure catharsis! Inlitnment leave us speechless – you don’t hear such high-quality sludge/doom metal that often. Besides, the Swiss group doesn’t hold back – quite the opposite, they even incorporate death metal, groove metal and nu metal elements into their music. This way, the Swiss give us a solid, quality album of massively heavy metal that satisfies the listener without becoming tiring at any point! The enlightenment has begun – are you really going to stay outside, complaining that you aren’t part of the game? Absolutely not! Turn up the volume, let the riffs crush you, and surrender to this insane fantasy. “Spiritual Warfare” is here to remind us that heavy music can still hurt, heal, destroy and rebuild you at the same time.
