Last month, Crown X Recordings — Canada’s leading reissue label — announced the release of Helix 50 – The Best Of, a comprehensive compilation celebrating five decades of one of the country’s most iconic hard rock bands. This career-spanning collection includes a star-studded re-recording of HELIX’s multi-platinum anthem “Rock You,” along with international hits from their major label debut No Rest For The Wicked (1983) through to Vagabond Bones (2009). The compilation also features a brand-new, previously unreleased track, completing the retrospective. Each song has been expertly remastered using state-of-the-art audio technology at Iguana Recording Studios in Toronto, Ontario, offering a revitalized sonic experience on both CD and vinyl formats.
The official music video for the all-star rendition of “Rock You” — showcasing founding vocalist Brian Vollmer and longtime bassist Daryl Gray, joined by special guests Phil X (Bon Jovi), Brent Fitz (Slash), and Todd Kerns (Slash) — is now available to watch below. The track is also available for streaming in both stereo and Dolby Atmos formats.
HELIX’s brand-new studio single, “Stand Up,” is set to drop on all major streaming platforms on Friday, May 18.
