Empty Frame presents their new album “Underdogs”. The record officially marks the beginning of a new era for the band. It’s more electric, more dynamic and with more energy.
In “Underdogs” the dominant elements are the heavier, post, and psychedelic elements that have always been present in their music, but now they take the forefront without losing the unique melodic lines that have made Empty Frame stand out in the Greek English-speaking scene for so many years.
“Underdogs” encompasses all those individuals who have suffered oppression, discrimination, violence, faced their dead ends, and have risen up. However, “Underdogs” is also a word that suits Empty Frame, who continue their journey after almost twenty years, creating despite adversities, losses and personal dark moments.
The album was recorded at Dope of Sound Studio by Kostas Savvidis, who also handled the mixing, while the production is credited to the band itself. The mastering was done by Giannis Christodoulatos (Sweetspot) and the album artwork was created by Louiza Karageorgiou.
Empty Frame consists of: Panagiotis Fetsis (Bass, Vocals), Christos Kallimanis (Guitars), Babis Vasiliadis (Drums, Percussion), Nikos Solomos (Violin) and Kaiti Pantzari (Cello, vocals).
“Underdogs” is released by Coma Records on all digital platforms and in a limited number of vinyl records.
