Get ready for an inferno. An inferno of pure death metal, the flames of which will melt you down. In the plethora of contemporary extreme metal, Dying Grotesque from Ukraine manages to stand out from the rest and release an album, which bring you to euphoria. “Celestial” is a tour-de-force of death metal, which attracts also other elements (black metal, thrash metal, technical/progressive death metal) and its output is more than satisfactory. Apart from the classic brutal vocals, here you will find amazing guitar techniques and s strong, cohesive rhythm section, which all enhance our auditory experience. Don’t expect something innovative, as the Dying Grotesque are not redefining the death metal genre, yet if you choose to listen to this band, you will get something well-crafted, mature and dignified. The Ukrainian band has the know-how to create something intriguing and listen-worthy. Since it is their sophomore album, it gives also promises for an even better future! I am sure that if Dying Grotesque continues their hard work, they will come back with album beyond excellent and beautiful! So, enjoy now this fine death metal installment, noting down the name of this band, because they surely have many more things to offer us!
