The iconic American rock ensemble, DIXIE DREGS, is set to embark on a compelling tour across the East Coast this upcoming spring. The stellar lineup featuring Steve Morse, Andy West, Rod Morgenstein, and Allen Sloan will be graced once again by the exceptional keyboardist Jordan Rudess for a series of eight extraordinary performances. Commencing on April 18 in Nashville, Tennessee, and culminating on April 27 in Clearwater, Florida, these shows promise to be a celebration of musical prowess.
Adding to the excitement, the opening acts for these performances will be none other than the virtuosic STEVE MORSE BAND, featuring Steve Morse himself alongside the talented musicians Dave LaRue and Van Romaine. This collaboration ensures a captivating experience for the audience, showcasing the diverse and profound talent within the realm of rock music.
Steve Morse had this to say about the shows: “This is a very special tour happening with the DREGS, featuring Jordan Rudess and my trio, the STEVE MORSE BAND, opening up the shows.
“We’ve done one tour long ago with Jordan and were thrilled when he was able to take over with Steve Davidowski being already committed to a project. We’ll be adding many different tunes than our reunion some years back, so this is the best time to hear the original instrumental rock band in action!”.
