Sharon Osbourne has tested positive for coronavirus. Ozzy Osbourne‘s wife and manager revealed her diagnosis on Monday (December 14, 2020) with a statement on social media. She was hospitalized for the infectious disease for a short time and is currently isolating away from Ozzy. She also encouraged her followers to stay safe and healthy amid the ongoing pandemic: “I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while ‘The Talk’ is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy”. Last month, Ozzy told GQ magazine that he suffers from a respiratory disease which puts him at an increased risk of severe pneumonia and poor outcomes if he was to develop COVID-19. “I’ve got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I’m fucked,” he said. Less than a month ago, Sharon announced that she was self-quarantining after being in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
