Behold! The Great Nola Trendkill is coming to New Orleans. Presented by Housecore Horror, Housecore Records and Live Nation, the special two-day festival will take place at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 20-21. The event will feature a landmark performance by PANTERA, marking the band’s first show in their hometown in 30 years, while also celebrating the 30th anniversary of their acclaimed “The Great Southern Trendkill” album, originally released in 1996.
The weekend will also mark the official release show for DOWN’s “Volume V”, with additional performances from BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, POWER TRIP, CROWBAR, EYEHATEGOD, RĀDE, HERAKLEION and PIG DESTROYER. This is more than just a lineup—it’s a full-scale takeover! The individual-day lineups will be announced at a later date.
As an added attraction, The Great Nola Trendkill will also mark the return of the Housecore Horror Festival. More than a decade after its original inception, PANTERA/DOWN vocalist and heavy metal icon Philip H. Anselmo is bringing his unique blend of horror, music and mayhem back to New Orleans for an unforgettable weekend.
Through his Housecore Records label, Anselmo has consistently supported and promoted a wide range of emerging artists, while Housecore Horror has provided an outlet for his passion for the darker and more cinematic side of entertainment. Now, The Great Nola Trendkill will deliver a full-scale horror takeover, featuring screenings, special appearances and plenty of screams.
The festival will spread across various venues throughout the city, offering guests live performances, vendors, special events and an extensive selection of horror movies. Please note that these activities are not included in the all-in ticket price for the arena shows. Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
