The Nudge Unit is a visionary project led by Vito F. Mainolfi, originally conceived as both a solo endeavor and a side project of Pentesilea Road. With an experimental approach to sound and storytelling, the project embraces an alternative, boundary-free framework, creating music and lyrics that evolve organically. For the first time, Vito steps forward as a vocalist, adding a new depth to his artistic expression.

The Nudge Unit thrive on a fusion of progressive rock, ambient, and alternative elements, with each track exploring new moods and sonic landscapes. Inspired by a blend of classic and modern progressive influences, the band’s sound is driven by emotion, spontaneity, and artistic freedom, ensuring that every piece is a unique experience.

The upcoming album embodies the ethos of Nudge Unit — pushing musical boundaries with expressive keyboards, dynamic percussion, and captivating soundscapes. With the contribution of keyboard maestro Hans Duynhoven, legendary drummer Mark Zonder, and guest artist Jason Dykes, the project discovers its distinctive rhythm and progressive energy.

The first single, “The Nudge Unit”, featuring Hans Duynhoven and Mark Zonder, is now available on all digital platforms!
